Zagrebački velesajam is the busiest exhibition venue in Croatia, with Interliber, Ambienta, the Nautical Show, Dentex and BIAM filling its halls through the year. Octanorm Adria is 140 km away in Ljubljana and inside the same customs union, which makes Zagreb the shortest and simplest build we do outside Slovenia.
No border, no carnet, no import paperwork
Croatia has been an EU member since 2013 and joined both Schengen and the euro on 1 January 2023. Equipment moves from our warehouse to the Velesajam as an internal EU shipment: no customs declaration, no ATA Carnet, no temporary-admission deposit, and no risk of a truck sitting at a border crossing while your hall slot runs out.
The distance also changes what is possible on site. A missing panel or a late change to a graphic is a same-day drive, not a rebooked freight run, which is why short-notice bookings for Zagreb are something we can usually still take.
One system across a mixed fair calendar
The Zagreb calendar is deliberately broad: Ambienta for furniture and construction, Interliber for publishing, Dentex for dental medicine, BIAM for machine tools, the Nautical Show and HoReCa Adria for hospitality. Octawall and Maxima wall systems configure to whatever footprint each of those shows sold you, and Octarig carries lighting and signage overhead without loading the floor.
Octalumina LED frames and SEG fabric graphics give the stand a finished, backlit surface rather than a printed board bolted to a frame, and the same frames take a new fabric for the next fair.
Build, rent or buy
We deliver, assemble before the opening and dismantle after the close, coordinating with the Velesajam technical services on power and build windows. For exhibitors doing several Croatian shows a year, we store and service the stand between appearances.
Rental covers a one-off appearance. Purchase makes sense once Zagreb is a fixture in your calendar, since a bought Octanorm system is reused rather than skipped, and the cost per show drops with every reuse. Layout planning and the parts list are free before you decide.
