where octanorm walls and frames go to work
A project manager heading to a Munich trade fair needs a 24-square-metre stand, then rebuilds it in Zagreb three months later. Same brief, two venues, one solution. Octanorm walls grow from maxima 40 profiles; on a load-bearing maxima 80 wall you mount LED screens, and onto the light surfaces you fit an octalumina tensioned-fabric SEG frame. The system does more than show up at fairs. In a showroom or retail space it carries shelving and an illuminated sign, in a museum exhibition it holds graphic panels, and in pharmaceutical and electronics production we build a modular cleanroom from the very same profiles, with certified walls and ceiling. How do you pick the right application? Ask how many outings the build will see: a one-off event makes a strong case for rental, while recurring fairs justify buying your own kit. how to choose the right profile and system
Clients often ask us whether the slimmest profile is enough. The answer comes down to load and wall height. Maxima 40, with a 40 × 40 mm cross section, carries lightweight partitions and graphics for low stands. Maxima 80, with an 80 × 80 mm cross section, is the load-bearing wall for tall builds, shelving, and mounted LED screens, since the 80 mm depth accommodates screens from a range of manufacturers. Maxima 120, with a 120 × 120 mm cross section, takes on portals, walkways, and the longest spans. Every profile runs on the same shared 4 mm groove, so they connect freely with one another, and the family counts more than 90 profiles. When do you reach for octawall, and when for octalumina? Octawall is a solid wall structure for graphics, shelving, and screens. Octalumina is a tensioned-fabric lightbox, for wherever you want a softly lit surface with no visible frame. How to decide? engineered and reliable
Modular aluminium profiles (maxima 40, 80, 120 mm) assemble without welding and disassemble after the show. Double-deck builds carry up to 500 kg/m², ceiling spans reach up to 12 metres.
less waste, lower cost
The same structure serves from fair to fair: between shows you swap only the graphic. With every build the cost per appearance drops, and far less waste is produced than with a custom-built stand.

For lighter walls and graphics, maxima 40 (a 40 × 40 mm extrusion) is enough; for larger portals and load-bearing structures choose maxima 80 or 120. Send your floor plan and wall heights and we advise the right profile and system.
octawall is a modular wall with quick assembly and graphics held without visible screws. octalumina is a fabric light frame with SEG graphics and integrated LED. We often combine the two on the same stand.
If you exhibit regularly, buying your own kit pays off within a few shows. For a one-off appearance, rental makes sense. If you want it handled end to end, we take over the turnkey build with design, graphics and on-site setup.
Yes. Octanorm is a modular system, so you dismantle the same profiles, store them and reassemble at the next fair; usually you only swap the graphics. The aluminium is fully recyclable, which lowers the cost per use.
Within Octanorm, the product families connect through the octauniversal connector, so walls, lighting and ceiling assemble into one stand. They are not cross-compatible with frames from other makers such as beMatrix or Aluvision.
