trade fair stand for sport and outdoor.

A sport exhibitor rarely brings a brochure. The exhibit is a boat on a trailer, a rack of bikes, a wall of skis or a line of running shoes, and the visitor is a member of the public who wants to touch it, try it and compare it with the stand next door. That asks more of a stand than a logo wall: floor that carries the load, an open plan that lets a crowd move through, shelving that holds gear at eye level and light that shows colour truthfully. The modular Octanorm system covers all four, and the same stock moves from one fair to the next through a season.

bulky sport equipment: carrying the load and hiding the cables

On a boat, bike or ski stand the product is the biggest thing in the space, so the stand is built around it. A boat or a trailer puts a lot of weight on a small footprint, and a lit display or a charging point for an e-bike needs power exactly where the exhibit stands. The Octafloor raised floor spreads a point load over a larger area and runs cables beneath the walking surface, so nothing crosses the aisle.

The Maxima profiles (40, 80 and 120 mm) carry large panels and elevated displays when a product has to be seen from above or from across the hall. A stand for a nautical fair such as Nautika in Zagreb can then show the hull in the middle and put the technical data on a panel beside it, so the visitor reads the specification while standing next to the boat.

Plan the exhibit first and the walls second. Send us the dimensions of the largest item and the floor plan the organiser gave you, and the layout starts from where that item must stand and where it has to be driven or carried in.

  • Octafloor spreads the load of a heavy exhibit and hides power and cables under the floor.
  • A power point where the exhibit stands, for lit displays, charging or demo equipment.
  • Maxima carries large technical panels and elevated product displays beside the exhibit.
  • The layout starts from the largest item and its route into the stand.

an open stand for a mixed public audience

Sport fairs are consumer fairs. Ski Expo in Belgrade (12 to 15 November 2026) and the Running Expo of the Belgrade Marathon (15 to 17 April 2027) bring in families, club members and keen amateurs next to the trade, and a crowd does not queue at a narrow entrance. A stand that opens on two or three sides lets visitors enter where an exhibit catches their eye.

Octawall walls build an inline, corner or island stand from the same stock. In place of a closed box, set low partitions and separate zones for the display, the try-it area and the conversation, so traffic runs through the stand and not past it. Octarig lifts the logo above the stand so that it is visible across a large hall before the visitor can see any single exhibit.

If you are choosing between layouts, our guide to exhibition stand layouts compares inline, corner, peninsula and island stands and what each means for the number of open sides.

  • Open corner or island plan with access from several sides for a consumer crowd.
  • Separate zones for the display, the try-it area and the sales conversation.
  • Octarig carries the logo above the stand, readable across the hall.
  • The same stock fits an inline, corner or island floor plan.

display walls, shelving and counters for gear and apparel

Skis, rods, helmets, shoes and apparel are sold by the piece, so the visitor must be able to pick them up. The profile system takes shelves, hooks and rails on a wall at a height people can reach, and a glass-panel Maxima wall shows small items without hiding them behind a barrier. Keep the best seller at eye level and the packaged stock behind.

A counter is where a trade conversation, an order or a sign-up happens. The illuminated OL-C500 counters and the other Octanorm counters give the stand a clear point to approach, and a closed storage cabinet behind the back wall holds spare stock, samples and the team's belongings out of sight.

Our guide to exhibition counters lists the types (reception, sales, illuminated, corner) and what renting or buying each one costs.

  • Shelves, hooks and rails on the profile wall, at a height visitors can reach.
  • Glass-panel Maxima wall for small items and apparel.
  • Illuminated counters give a clear point for orders and conversations.

light and graphics that read across a hall

Sport products live on colour: the red of a hull, the pattern of a jersey, the finish of a ski. Hall lighting flattens all of it. Octalumina LED frames with a high CRI show the true colour of the product and carry a seamless fabric graphic that is lit from behind, so the image works from a distance and from close by.

Graphics change with the season. A frame that carries a boat range in February can carry a running collection in April, because the frame stays and only the printed fabric is replaced. For the lighting itself (lumens per area, warm or neutral light, spotlights against tracks) the lighting guide gives the numbers.

  • Backlit fabric graphics read from a distance and from close by.
  • Graphics are replaced for each fair, the frame stays.

one stand for a whole season of sport fairs

Sport fairs in the region cluster in winter and spring. From the confirmed dates: the Zagreb hunting fair on 4 to 7 February 2027, Nautika in Zagreb on 17 to 21 February, FIT & WELL together with the days of hunting and sport shooting in Celje on 19 to 21 March, the Belgrade nautical, hunting and fishing fair on 1 to 5 April and the Running Expo on 15 to 17 April. Ski Expo in Belgrade opens the season on 12 to 15 November 2026.

With a modular stand the same walls, floor and frames are rebuilt in a different plan for each hall, and only the graphics and the product change. A company that attends several of these fairs gets more from owning the stock than from paying for a new build every time, while a single appearance is usually cheaper to rent. Our guide to renting or buying a stand works through the comparison.

Send us the list of fairs you plan to attend and the floor plan of the first one, and we will propose a stand that can be reused across them.

  • Ski Expo, Belgrade: 12 to 15 November 2026.
  • Zagreb hunting fair: 4 to 7 February 2027; Nautika, Zagreb: 17 to 21 February 2027.

  • Running Expo, Belgrade Marathon: 15 to 17 April 2027.

Yes, that is the point of a modular system. Octawall walls, Octafloor and Octalumina frames are taken down and rebuilt in a different plan for each hall, and only the graphics and the exhibits change. Send us the list of fairs and the first floor plan and we will propose a stand that can be reused.

For one appearance renting is usually cheaper. If you exhibit at several fairs in a season, owning the stock tends to work out better than a new build each time, since the same system is reused. Our guide to renting or buying a stand sets the options side by side.
