hunting and fishing fair: exhibition stand.
The hunting, fishing and outdoor sector has its own fair circuit across the Adria region: LORIST, the 57th International Hunting and Fishing Fair in Novi Sad, from 30 September to 4 October 2026, and the Zagreb hunting fair from 4 to 7 February 2027. This guide is written for the exhibitor: what a large exhibit needs from a stand, what small goods need instead, how far ahead an exhibition stand rental is ordered, and when buying the kit pays off.
hunting and fishing fairs in the region: dates and venues
LORIST, the 57th International Hunting and Fishing Fair, runs from 30 September to 4 October 2026 at the Novi Sad Fair (Novosadski sajam), in the same term as the Ecology Fair. In Croatia the Zagreb hunting fair runs from 4 to 7 February 2027 at the Zagreb Fair (Zagrebački velesajam), followed two weeks later by Nautika, the 34th international boat show, from 17 to 21 February 2027. In Serbia the 47th international boating, hunting and fishing fair follows at the Belgrade Fair from 1 to 5 April 2027.
Dates come from the organizers’ official calendars (sajam.net, zv.hr, sajam.rs); confirm them before you register, because schedules change. For an exhibitor from outside the region the practical consequence is that five of these dates sit inside seven months of each other, close enough for one kit and one crew to serve them all.
- LORIST, Novi Sad: 30 September to 4 October 2026.
- Biograd Boat Show, Biograd na Moru: 21 to 25 October 2026.
- Zagreb hunting fair: 4 to 7 February 2027; Nautika, Zagreb: 17 to 21 February 2027.
- Boating, hunting and fishing fair, Belgrade: 1 to 5 April 2027.

One supplier and one modular system cover Novi Sad, Zagreb and Belgrade, so a regional season is planned as one project rather than three.
a large exhibit or small goods: two different stands
This sector displays two things that pull a stand in opposite directions. A boat, a trailer, a kennel or a tent needs empty floor: a plot open on more than one side and room to walk right around the exhibit. Optics, knives, lures, footwear and clothing need a fitted wall instead: shelving in several rows, a counter where the goods are picked up, and graphics that read from the aisle.
Most exhibitors bring both, so the plot splits into a display zone and a selling zone. Keep the conversation zone off the aisle: a visitor who stops beside the boat should not block the route to the counter. Choose the layout before you book the plot, because a corner or island position offers two or three open sides where an inline stand offers one.
- Large exhibit: an open plan with access from more than one side.
- Small goods: shelving, a counter and aisle-readable graphics.
- Corner and island plots open more sides than an inline stand.
- The layout is chosen before the plot is booked, not after.

what the stand is built from
Here the material is the product: leather, wood, steel, feather, camouflage pattern and the lacquer on a hull. Spotlights with a colour rendering index of CRI 90 show them truthfully, while under the cold light of a hall the same item reads greyer than it does in the catalogue. Backlit Octalumina frames do the other job, holding a large graphic at even brightness for the whole run.
The structure follows the exhibit. Walls are built from Octawall frames when the graphic changes between shows, or from Maxima extrusions when they carry large format and shelving. The Octafloor raised floor hides cabling and lifts the exhibit above hall level, and the Octarig ceiling structure carries graphics and spotlights overhead, which is what makes a stand readable across a large hall.
- CRI 90 spotlights: true colour on leather, wood, feather and lacquer.
- Octalumina: backlit graphics that read from the aisle.
- Octawall and Maxima: fast graphic changes, or large format and shelving.
- Octafloor and Octarig: cables in the floor, graphics and light overhead.

exhibition stand rental in the adria region
For one or two appearances a year, rental is the shortest route, and for an exhibitor based abroad it also removes the freight and customs work of moving a kit across borders. We deliver and install the Octanorm stand before opening and dismantle it after closing; the graphics carry your brand, so a rented stand looks no different from your own.
A modular stand rental is ordered two to four weeks before the fair, a turnkey build six to eight weeks, because the build includes design, graphics production and a trial assembly. The plot itself is booked with the organizer much earlier, and around the stand come the power connection request, graphics and transport, so tie every deadline to the opening day and plan backwards.
- Rental: ordered two to four weeks before opening.
- Turnkey build: ordered six to eight weeks before opening.
- Plot: booked with the organizer months ahead.
- Rental includes delivery, installation before opening and dismantling after closing.

buying the kit: one system across a regional season
An exhibitor doing two or three shows a year does the arithmetic differently. The same modular kit is rearranged from show to show and only the graphics change, so the cost per appearance falls with each one. Novi Sad in the autumn, Zagreb in February and Belgrade in April sit close enough together for a single kit to cover the season.
The choice between the two is set by frequency rather than by taste, and our rent-or-buy guide works it through with numbers. If the kit is yours, we can store it between shows in the region so it does not travel home and back again.
- Two or three shows a year is where buying starts to pay.
- The kit is rearranged per plot; only the graphics change.
- Storage between shows keeps a bought kit inside the region.
- Rental stays the shorter route for a single appearance.
octanorm adria as your stand builder
As the official Octanorm distributor for Slovenia and former Yugoslavia we cover the Novi Sad Fair, the Zagreb Fair and the Belgrade Fair with the same system and the same crew: we design, build, deliver and install the stand before opening, then dismantle and, if you wish, store it after the fair.
Send the floor plan or the plot size, a list of what you are exhibiting (boat, vehicle, equipment, small goods) and your dates. We will prepare a proposal with two scenarios, rental and purchase, so you can compare them on your own case.

The complete Octanorm stand: walls, shelving, a counter, lighting and graphics carrying your brand, with delivery, installation before opening and dismantling after closing. We take the kit away afterwards, so there is no storage cost.
On an open plan with room to walk around it, and where useful on an Octafloor raised floor, which lifts the exhibit above hall level and hides power and signal cables in the double floor. Wall graphics go above the height of the exhibit so they read from the aisle.
Yes, and it is usually the cheaper route: the stand is built, delivered and installed locally, so nothing has to be freighted across borders and back. Send the plot size and a list of what you are exhibiting and we will quote rental and purchase side by side.
