horeca adria 2026 zagreb: exhibition stand.

HoReCa Adria, the hospitality equipment fair in Zagreb, runs from 22 to 24 October 2026 at the Zagreb Fair. This guide is for the exhibitor who still needs a stand: what a hospitality stand has to do, how to plan counters, light and power for equipment on show, whether to rent or buy, and how one kit can serve the rest of the autumn fair season.

horeca adria 2026 in zagreb: dates and venue

HoReCa Adria runs from 22 to 24 October 2026 at the Zagreb Fair (Zagrebački velesajam) in Zagreb. The dates were checked against the organizer page (horeca-adria.com) on 9 October 2026; check them again before you register, because dates can move.

The fair opens ten days after this guide. Anyone without a stand should decide this week. Zagreb is a short drive from our base in Ljubljana, so we can usually still take short-notice bookings there; ask before you assume it is too late.

It is a hospitality equipment fair, so visitors compare similar products side by side within a few metres. A stand there is judged on how well the equipment is shown working: a counter at the right height, light that is honest about the product and power where the machines stand.

  • HoReCa Adria: 22 to 24 October 2026.
  • Venue: Zagreb Fair (Zagrebački velesajam), Zagreb.
  • Date source: horeca-adria.com, checked 9 October 2026.
  • Short-notice bookings for Zagreb are usually still possible.

At a hospitality equipment fair the stand is also a small working bar, so the counter, the light and the power come before the graphics.

counters and bars for demonstrations and tastings

A hospitality stand is usually a working bar. The counter takes water, coffee and frequent wiping, so it needs a smooth, moisture-resistant surface with a thin aluminium trim that dries quickly. In the Octanorm system the counter is part of the modular structure: you can set it parallel to a wall, at an angle or as a freestanding island, wherever visitor traffic is densest.

Raising the counter slightly hides cool bags, spare cups and utensils below the work level, while the visitor side stays tidy. The aluminium frame does not absorb moisture and stays flat after a long fair day. Illuminated counters such as the OL-C500 are the other option when the counter itself is meant to draw people in.

Demonstration stands often need two zones, one where visitors queue for a sample and one where a buyer sits down with a sales contact. Walls built from Octawall or Maxima separate them without a ceiling or a fixed partition.

  • Smooth, moisture-resistant counter surface that wipes and dries quickly.
  • Counter parallel to a wall, at an angle or as a freestanding island.
  • Work strip below counter level, hidden from the visitor side.
  • Octawall or Maxima walls to split a tasting zone from a meeting zone.

light that shows the product as it is

Food and drink sell on colour, and equipment sells on finish. Light with a low colour rendering index pulls both towards grey. Octalumina backlit frames with a high CRI give the wall an even, true-colour surface, and track-mounted LED spotlights can be re-aimed without tools as the programme of the day changes.

LED sources give off little heat, which matters at a bar: the light does not warm the counter area or speed up the spoiling of samples. Hall lighting at a fair is never aimed at your stand, so plan your own from the first sketch and ask the organizer what power the lighting may draw.

  • High-CRI light for true colours of products and finishes.
  • Octalumina frames for an evenly lit wall.
  • Track LED spotlights re-aimed without tools.
  • Low heat output at the counter.

power, cables and heavy equipment under the stand

Coffee machines, ovens, dishwashers and refrigerators all need power, and a fair floor with loose cables is both a safety problem and an untidy picture. The Octafloor raised floor hides the cable runs under panels that clip together without adhesive and carry the load of refrigeration units and scales. If your equipment is unusually heavy, send us the weight and we will check the floor build with it.

The platform also marks the edge of your space with a slight step, so visitors see where your stand begins.

What the hall itself supplies, such as the power connection, water and drainage, is set by the organizer and ordered through them. We do not guess it from a distance: ask for it in writing before the floor plan is drawn, then give us the connection points.

  • Cable runs hidden under Octafloor panels, laid before the panels go on.
  • Panels carry refrigeration units and scales; send us unusual weights.
  • Power, water and drainage: the organizer sets and supplies them.
  • Connection points go into the floor plan before graphics.

rent, buy, and one kit for the autumn season

Rental covers a single appearance: a complete stand from the Octanorm system, delivered, built before opening and taken down after closing, with nothing to store afterwards. Purchase means your own kit, which later needs only a new floor plan and new graphics. Turnkey puts design, build and storage with one contractor.

With ten days to go, rental is the realistic route for HoReCa Adria. If you also exhibit at the next hospitality dates, the same modular kit travels: HoReCa Fair Banja Luka runs 5 to 7 November 2026, the Zagreb Fair hosts the Food and Healthy Living Fairs from 3 to 6 December 2026, and Horeca in Belgrade follows from 25 to 28 February 2027. All dates are from our fair calendar.

A company that books three or four of these in a season is the case where purchase starts to pay: the cost per appearance falls with each one, and only the floor plan and graphics change.

  • Rental: one appearance, delivery, build and strip-out, nothing to store.
  • Purchase: your own kit, later only new graphics and a new floor plan.
  • Turnkey: design, build and storage with one contractor.
  • Next dates: Banja Luka 5 to 7 November, Zagreb 3 to 6 December, Belgrade 25 to 28 February 2027.

what we need for a proposal

We need the size of the booked space or the floor plan, the stand number if you have one, the type (inline, corner, peninsula or island) and a description of what you show, including every machine that needs power.

We plan the layout and quote the parts list for free before you decide on rental or purchase. You get a proposal with rental and purchase side by side, so the difference shows in a number. Graphics go in last, because until then the floor plan usually still moves.

HoReCa Adria opens on 22 October. Send the floor plan and the equipment list and we will come back with a proposal.

Not necessarily. Zagreb is a short drive from our base in Ljubljana, so we can usually still take short-notice bookings there. Send the floor plan and the list of equipment you will show, and we will say what is possible for the dates.

For one appearance, rental is quicker because it commits no capital: the stand is delivered, built before opening and taken down after closing. Purchase pays if you exhibit at several hospitality fairs in a season, because the same kit then needs only new graphics and a new floor plan.

Yes, within limits we check together. The Octafloor raised floor hides the cables and carries refrigeration units and scales. Send us the equipment list with weights and connection points. The power, water and drainage the hall supplies are set by the organizer.

Yes. The modular system adapts to the next floor plan and only the graphics change. After HoReCa Adria, the next dates in our calendar are HoReCa Fair Banja Luka (5 to 7 November 2026), the Zagreb Food and Healthy Living Fairs (3 to 6 December 2026) and Horeca in Belgrade (25 to 28 February 2027).
