municipal equipment fair: exhibition stand.

Komdel Expo, the 21st international municipal equipment fair, runs from 14 to 16 October 2026 at Šumadija sajam in Kragujevac, Serbia. Dates come from the organizer’s official announcement (sumadijasajam.rs); confirm them before registering, as schedules can change.

The fair sits inside a dense regional circuit. EKOBIS, the 22nd international ecology fair, runs from 10 to 13 September 2026 in Bihać, Bosnia and Herzegovina; the ecology fair at Novosadski sajam in Novi Sad runs from 30 September to 4 October; the international energy days follow in Novi Sad on 14 and 15 October; the 21st international energy fair and EcoFair, the environmental protection fair, share 21 to 23 October at Beogradski sajam in Belgrade; Energo Tehnoma runs from 29 to 31 October in Skopje; and the water fair and forum closes the season in Belgrade from 2 to 4 December.

When the exhibit is a municipal vehicle or a truck-mounted unit, the stand is planned as open space: a plan open on at least two sides, room to walk around the exhibit, and graphics speaking from wall surfaces above cab height. Visitors want to step close, look into the cab and see the mechanism, so partitions are kept to a minimum.

Containers, bins and street furniture are shown differently: lined up along a wall, with graphics and labels that read from the aisle, several metres away. A public utility company or a software provider for municipal systems is the third task: a counter, a screen and a quiet corner for conversation carry that stand, because what is being sold is a service, not a machine. Choose the layout, inline, corner or island, before you book the hall space.

A heavy exhibit needs a firm base and tidy cabling. The Octafloor raised floor lifts a vehicle or machine above hall level and hides power and signal runs inside the double floor, so no cable crosses the walkway. Spotlights with a colour rendering index of CRI 90 show paint, stainless steel and plastics in true colour rather than the yellowish cast of weak hall lighting.

The skeleton of the stand assembles from the same Octanorm system as at any other fair: Octawall walls for fast graphic changes, Maxima extrusions for large formats, and the Octarig ceiling structure overhead, carrying the logo and spotlights and making the stand readable across the hall. Backlit Octalumina frames highlight the key graphic, the counter hosts the first conversation, and everything assembles without tools and dismantles for reuse after the fair.

For one appearance a year, rental is the fastest route. We install the Octanorm stand before opening and dismantle it after closing, and you arrive to a finished space: walls, a raised platform where one is needed, a counter, lighting and graphics carrying your brand. A rented stand looks no different from your own.

A modular stand rental is ordered two to four weeks before the fair; a turnkey build is ordered six to eight weeks ahead. The hall space is booked with the organizer earlier, because the best positions go first. Around the stand come the power connection request, graphics production and transport, so tie every deadline to 14 October 2026 and plan backwards.

An exhibitor appearing at two or three fairs of the season, say EKOBIS in September, Komdel Expo in mid October and the Belgrade energy week a week later, reconfigures the same modular kit from show to show and only changes the graphics.
